Thomas Nelson and Zondervan together have a great range of Journaling Bibles in collections they each call “Journal The Word”, with a range of covers and internal features such as the words of Jesus in red and their signature “Comfort Print” typeface. There are also large print and interleaved options too. The Journal The Word Journaling Bibles collection split out so that each translation (NKJV, KJV, NIV) have a handful of options in their range.

INSPIRE JOURNALING BIBLE COLLECTIONS

Tyndale’s wildly popular collections of Inspire, Inspire Praise, Inspire Prayer and Inspire Faith Journaling Bibles are all NLT translation. Each comes in a variety of covers with its own range of 400-600 unique line art illustrations to color. Some also have large print and even giant print options. The original ‘Inspire’ Bible has a standard cream paper while all other collections come with a slightly thicker white paper.

ILLUSTRATING JOURNALING BIBLE COLLECTION

DaySpring have a popular Illustrating Bible designed for Bible Journalists with white paper that is 75% thicker than average Bible paper and a 4-6″ plain margin (depending on verse layout). There are a variety of covers with all having the same internal features, except that there are more than one Bible translation among them. The words of Christ are not in red and the text is average sized. There are also sometimes sections of the Bible printed in smaller books and these typically have larger print with the spiral binding on all being sturdy and handy for tucking adjacent pages behind while focusing.
